CBI Engages Future Builders at Fresno State

This week, the CBI team had the opportunity to connect with the next generation of construction professionals at California State University, Fresno. We kicked off our visit at the university’s career fair, where our team hosted a booth and met with many enthusiastic students eager to learn more about career paths in construction and renewable energy.

The very next day, we returned to campus for a special Lunch & Learn event led by Project Manager Adam Sheets and our President & CEO Lawrence Clark. Over lunch (provided by CBI), they shared insights into our daily operations, the types of projects we build, and what it’s like to work in the field. Their discussion offered students a real-world look at careers in construction and the many opportunities available in the industry.

To round out the event, our Talent Manager Allie Saffold hosted open interviews, giving students the chance to share their interests, experiences, and career goals. It was a great way to connect on a more personal level and start building relationships with future interns and team members.

We truly enjoyed meeting so many bright and motivated students and talking about their future in construction.
